I have enjoyed working in the mortgage industry for the past 6 years. I have
worked previously in the computer technology and education industry. Once you and I meet I will have a
great story to tell you about how I got started. I believe that this is an inspirational story that lets
people know never block your blessings. I have always enjoyed teaching customers with a background in education
taking something complicated and making it simple allowing me to help my customers understand all aspects of purchasing there
first home or if refinancing is a good idea.
My career started
with my being an aid for the blind at Wake Tech’s which much to my surprise turned into a part-time job in the computer
lab helping older students learn about computers. This quickly grew into a passion for me and I moved into
teaching continuing education classes for Wake Tech. While this was satisfying I also wanted to further
my career in computer programming so I took a job with EDS where I worked with them for 4 years before starting my new and
exciting career with Workingman’s Mortgage, Inc.
The mortgage
industry has allowed me to encompass my two loves of teaching my clients about home purchasing and solving complicated problems.
Some brokers have little patience with challenging situations but I enjoy them. Government Programs
FHA, VA and USDA Rural are the majority of the programs I close. I am starting to get my feet wet in commercial
so give me a call to see how we can partner together to achieve your goals.
